- The Center for Small Towns wants to connect UM Morris students to organizations looking for help with research, project administration, or other support. The program is called Connecting Students and Communities. Visit their site to learn more and apply. The application deadline is August 15th, so act now.
- 2014 Farm Families of the Year were recently announced and among the honorees are three Emerging Leadership Program alumni. Congrats are in order for Jon Gorentz of Otter Tail County (Class of 2011), Bennett and Gloria Osmonson of Polk County (Class of 1988), and Patty and Gary Purath of Red Lake County (Class of 1985). - Finally, registration is still open for the online offering of the 2014 Leadership Series on Leadership Skills for Engaging Others. Sign up now while spots are still available. The opportunity to be a part of the first session closes August 29th.
