U-Lead Advisory Academy Class Five Alumni practice and apply skills
Last weekend, alumni from Class Five of the U-Lead Advisory Academy meet over two days in Itasca State Park. In addition to learning about the history of the headwaters of the Mississippi, participants reconnected with each other, practiced skills, and, most importantly, put them to use.
Alumna Mary Kay Delvo planned and facilitated a session to jump-start a non-profit of a fellow alum. Participants used their knowledge, experience, and connections to provide the non-profit with some actionable next-steps and suggestions of individuals and groups that can benefit the organization and its board.
Reflecting on the event and the group at the end of the two days, alum Scott Peterson shared, "I feel like we are on the verge of something big."
